The post had to include a recipe, incorporating an unearthed® product with photographs.  We were looking for bloggers who have a great way with words, love food, have a sense of adventure, a desire to keep discovering, know their way round a camera and have a growing social media presence.
After much deliberation we've chosen our 2016 unearthed Blogger Scholarship Winners
After a few nervous weeks, wondering whether/h0w many entries we'd get we were really pleased with the response. We had some great entries and after much deliberation judges Caroline Kenyon: Director of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Award, Danny Kingston:  The Food Urchin and Susie, picked our blogger winners; Sophie Richardson, Connie Law and Emily Hughes. They all entered something a little different and picked different products to showcase, which we loved. Have a read of their blog entries (and their fantastic recipes) below:

Sophie Richardson

Sophie's Food Affair: Baked Homemade Gnocchi with Prosciutto, Cavolo Nero and Mascarpone

Connie Law

Connie Consumes: Mediterranean Chicken Stew [cycloneslider id="blogger-scholarship-winners"]

Emily Hughes

Emily Hughes Bakes: Olvie, Rosemary & Sea Salt Foccacia We'll be introducing them very soon to you all with some Q&As as we're planning a catch up with them. We'll also have more details about what they will be writing for us over the next year." Wilderness adventures

Our friends at Secret Adventures love to get out and about and make the most of the great outdoors – whether its swimming in lidos, night kayaking or singing round campfires. Last month we sent them over some nibbles to take to Wilderness festival. Lucy got in touch to let us know how they all got on…

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise…

meeting new people, following the leader, throwing a frisbee, exploring the woods and finding the secret location

In the setting sun, with trees adorned with decorations and lanterns aglow, an excellent evening was had by Secret Adventurers at the Wilderness festival, fuelled by delicious nibbles generously supplied by unearthed®!

The adventure began by meeting new people, following the leader, throwing a frisbee, exploring the woods and finding the secret location. Laughter quickly consumed us, helped by the setting, conversation and of course the food. Toasting chorizo and marshmallows (fortunately not together) on an open fire was enjoyed by all and created an amazing atmosphere that no one wanted to leave.

With bellies full and the sunlight beginning to fade it was time to head back to the festivities with the memories banked and intentions to return next year set.
