Provolone Olive Bread

Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread – except for eating it spread with liberally with our favourite – Pork Rillettes.

  • 1 pack of unearthed® Olives with Provolone - using 60g olives and 50g provolone cheese
  • 450g very strong white bread flour
  • 2tsp  unrefined golden granulated sugar
  • 1½tsp salt
  • 1¼tsp easy bake yeast
  • 2tbsp  olive oil
  • 275ml warm water


  1. Quarter the olives, then add them into a bowl with the flour, sugar, salt and yeast
  2. Mix to a soft dough with the oil and water
  3. Turn onto floured surface and knead for 10 min
  4. Shape into greased tray and push the cheese into the mix
  5. Cover the dough and leave until doubled in size
  6. Preheat the 200°c (fan assisted) / Gas Mark 6
  7. Place in oven and immediately turn down to 180°c / Gas Mark 4
  8. Bake for 30-35 mins
